The RSIC-SI-X CRC is designed for use with any joist or concrete application where a dropped drywall ceiling is required. The CRC top clip snaps onto cold rolled channel, allowing for all of the wires supporting the cold rolled channel to be hard connected to the ceiling above, including the vertical strut. The RSIC-SI-X has an acoustical design load range from 7 lbs to 25 lbs per isolator, the RSIC-SI-X resilient sound isolation clip can support up to two layers of 5/8″ gypsum board. The spacing at 16″ x 48″ oc is the same for 1 or 2 layers of gypsum board.
