Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled CAD Draftsperson with expertise in product take-offs to join our team at PAC International, LLC.  The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our design and engineering teams by creating precise, detailed, and accurate CAD drawings.  In addition, you will be responsible for conducting product take-offs to estimate materials required for some of our projects.  As a CAD Draftsperson with Product Take-Off Expertise, you will work on a variety of projects, providing essential technical drawings and accurate material estimates that contribute to the success of our noise control products and systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the contracting, design, and engineering teams to understand project requirements. 
• Draft and deliver accurate drawings and material estimates. 
• Complete qty survey and layout in CAD or convert CAD drawings to PAC layout software. (Microsoft Visio) 
• Complete qty survey and layout for products. 
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and best practices. 
• Revise and update existing CAD drawings to reflect design changes and modifications. 
• Assist in quality control and review processes to ensure the accuracy of drawings and CAD files. 
• Communicate effectively within the team and with clients to address design, technical, and material queries. 
• Stay up to date with CAD software and industry advancements. 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsperson or similar role. 
• Proficiency in AEC industry standard CAD software including AutoCAD and Revit. 
• Proficiency in Bluebeam. 
• Strong understanding of engineering and design principles. 
• Experience with product take-offs and material estimation. 
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate work. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• A degree or certification in a relevant field is a plus but not required. 
• Experience with drywall installation and/or stud framing is a plus but not required.
